Drama Captain

Good morning, for those who don’t know me, my name is Claragh Kean and I have been appointed the College’s first Drama Captain. In this role my aim is to help to raise the profile of the drama department within the school community. I strongly believe that it is a subject that students can feel proud to be a part of. It offers the opportunity for individuals to develop their confidence and performance skills as well as enabling students to participate in public performances.

You can join a wide variety of co-curricular activities such as the S1 and S2 Drama clubs who will perform to a live audience in March. This year also introduces the new S3 Drama club. Also the St Aloysius’ Senior Drama Company will launch this summer term. This new company will give students the opportunity to perform in a straight play at the end of the year.

This is an exciting venture and I hope that I will set the bar high for the students who follow after.

Thank you
