Giving from the USA

Old Aloysians or friends of the College living in the USA who wish to make a tax-effective gift can express a preference to support St Aloysius’ College through our partner organisation, the British Schools & Universities Foundation (BSUF), where you can set up a regular gift or give by card, or you can download a BSUF-Form. 

Your employer may have a Matching Gift Program which could increase the value of your gift and will provide you with a form that you can complete and send with your Gift Form and check to the BSUF, stating your preference to support St Aloysius’ College.

The BSUF is a charitable organisation recognised by the US Internal Revenue Service under Section 501(c)(3) of their Codes and St Aloysius’ College is an approved beneficiary. BSUF's Federal Tax Identification Number is 13-6161189.

OA Professor Declan Doogan (1970), is the College’s US representative with the BSUF. He can be contacted via the Development Office.

Giving from Canada

If you live in Canada and wish to give tax-effectively, please donate via CAF Canada in favour of: The Canadian Friends of St Aloysius’ College, Scotland.

International Giving

We welcome gifts from other countries and your donation can be made securely online by credit or debit card, by banker’s draft or international bank transfer. 

If you live overseas but still pay some UK tax, then you could make your gift tax-effectively and the College could also claim Gift Aid, which is worth an extra 25% at no additional cost to you.
