Make a Difference

From the moment they enter Kindergarten, our youngest learners become part of a community that extends far beyond their time at St. Aloysius' College - through our Junior and Senior Schools, into further education, training or the world of work. We aim to inspire children to look beyond themselves and to develop as curious, compassionate lifelong learners.

Jesuit Education places great importance on how children use their learning and personal formation in the wider world. From an early age, pupils are encouraged to think carefully, care deeply and act fairly. In Laudato Si, Pope Francis asked us to do exactly that - by looking after our planet and help those in need. Our children are encouraged to take pride in their school and its surroundings and to work collaboratively to create a positive environment for all.

Throughout the year, our children take part in charitable activities, raising money for a range of causes and beginning to understand how they can make a difference in their local communities. They are encouraged to use their talents in the service of others and to live out their faith through involvement with their local parish. In this way, the school fosters an atmosphere where everyone can live and work together in understanding, respect, and love.
