Primary 7

Experience

Primary 7 at St. Aloysius College is an important transitional year for your child’s academic and social development and provides an ideal springboard from Primary to Secondary Education. We are fortunate that our Junior School and Senior School are located on the same campus. Primary 7 pupils are taught by Senior School subject teachers in Modern Foreign Languages, Music, PE and Art in our Senior School. This allows our pupils to immerse themselves in both Senior and Junior School life, ensuring a seamless transition into S1.

Leadership

Our Primary 7 pupils are ambassadors for the Junior School and are given an opportunity to lead and serve our school while embodying the Jesuit virtues that we hold dear. Leadership roles include Head Boy and Head Girl, Deputes, House Captains, Companions and Champions in Chaplaincy, Rights Respecting, Media, Sport, Mathematics, Literacy and Expressive Arts.

Outdoor Learning and Extra-Curricular

Every child gets the opportunity to experience a wide variety of extra-curricular activities, representing the school at sporting events, outdoor learning and taking part in our Schola choral programme.

Each year our Primary 7 pupils travel to Lake Garda to experience other cultures and to the Dolomites for our annual Ski Trip.
