Benedict's First-Rate Weekend of Judo

Congratulations to Benedict MacLannan-Patton (S4) for achieving great success at two separate judo tournaments last weekend.

Benedict started his fantastic weekend of judo at the Headmasters Conference Independent Schools Boys Judo Competition at High Wycombe Judo Centre on Saturday 25th February. Here, he beat a series of talented martial artists to win the gold medal in the U81kg category.

The following day, Benedict continued his success at the Judo Scotland’s Ultimate Judo Grand Prix, held at Meadowbank. In this tournament, he picked up a bronze medal in a challenging combined Cadet U81/ U90kg category.

Well done to Benedict for his success in no less than two tournaments!
