Mission to Mars Workshop

From Garnethill to Mars!

Last week our P6 STEM ambassadors enjoyed the Royal College of Engineering's Mission to Mars workshop.

Our pupils met engineers from aerospace companies Thales and BAE, as well as some University of Strathclyde engineering students. Everyone used their STEM skills to design a transmitting tower, a sample picker for the Mars rover, and to design a space rocket complete with Lego astronaut!
