St Aloysius’ College, is seeking to appoint new Governors to join its Board and support the next phase of the College’s development.
We are particularly interested in candidates with senior experience in one or more of the following areas:
Governors play an important role in the strategic oversight of the College, supporting and constructively challenging the Principal and senior leadership team, while helping to ensure educational strength, financial sustainability, strong governance, regulatory compliance, and fidelity to the College’s Catholic and Jesuit mission.
We are looking for individuals with sound judgement, integrity, strategic perspective and a commitment to collective decision-making. Previous board or trustee experience is welcome, but not essential.
This is a voluntary role. The anticipated commitment is around 10–15 days per academic year, including Board and committee meetings, training, school visits and occasional school events.
If you, or someone you know, may be interested in finding out more, please contact the College at [email protected] and we will arrange for an informal conversation.
We are working to a timetable that would allow appointments to be considered at the Governing Body meeting in June, so expressions of interest would be appreciated promptly.
