In our Junior School and Senior School - we have planted two trees dedicated to the life of the late Archbishop Philip Tartaglia, who was a dear friend of the College.
We celebrated the planting of these trees with two beautiful ceremonies, one of which we were very thankful to have members of Archbishop Tartaglia's family present at.
The holly tree in our Junior School garden, chosen by our l staff and pupils, is an evergreen reminder of Archbishop Tartaglia's friendship with the college, and something we will always remember him by.
"The Kingdom of Heaven is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field; which indeed is smaller than all seeds but when it is grown, it is greater than the herbs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in its branches." Matthew 13:31–32
