Mr Patrick Doyle is stepping down as head teacher of St Aloysius College. Patrick joined the school in June 23 and has seen the school through a very successful inspection.
Although it was planned that his family would be joining him in Glasgow, this has not been possible due to a change in circumstances.
We would like to thank Patrick for his contribution to our school over the last year and wish him and his family well in the future.
We are delighted to announce that Mr Michael Burrowes has agreed to taking the role of interim head teacher. Michael retired as head teacher of Cardinal Griffin Catholic College in August 2022, which was an affiliated Jesuit state school in Staffordshire. He brings a great depth of understanding of Jesuit education and considerable experience as a head teacher.
Michael will be in Glasgow next week for meetings with the Board and key members of the Leadership Team, and is looking forward to meeting staff, parents and pupils in August.
