Recently, our Senior boys took on the Senior girls in a charity hockey match to raise funds for Funding Neuro, a charity dedicated to accelerating the development of new treatments for many of the most serious neurological conditions.
It was a rainy and windswept Saturday at Glasgow National Hockey Centre - but our player's spirits were not dampened. A high octane match ensued, which eventually ended in a 1-1 draw after forty minutes of play. Penalties followed, with the girls securing the victory.
Everyone had an amazing day, and over £800 was raised on the day for the charity. Well done to everyone who took part, and our sincere thanks goes to everyone who donated. A special thank you also goes to our umpires for the day, Mr. Crampsey and Miss Murray, and to the charity committee.
