Higher Human Biology pupils attend event at the Glasgow Science Centre

Yesterday our Higher Human Biology pupils attended a ‘Meet the Researcher’ event at the Glasgow Science Centre.

This was organised by the Medical Research Scotland Charity to encourage young people to consider a career in Medical research and to impress on them the many different types of research which was funded.

It was a super event, where the pupils listened to some more mature Scientists give their experience and work history in addition to talking about their research.

The pupils were also given a great opportunity to talk to younger Ph.D students about their research as they wandered around the various poster presentations.
