More record-breaking Exam results in 2018

Congratulations to pupils at St Aloysius' College who are celebrating yet another year of fantastic examination results.

This year’s SQA results have been outstanding, providing the College with our best ever pass rate of 98% at Higher in S5, with an excellent 61% at grade A.

Some highlights from this year’s results include:

• Our best ever S5 Higher pass rate at 98% with 61% at grade A
• A quarter of our students achieved 5 or more A grades at Higher
• 95.6% pass rate at National 5 with 91% A-B grades
• 26% achieved A grades in every subject at National 5 
• Advanced Higher pass rate of 88%
• 100% pass in English National 5 with 78% at A grade
• 100% A grades for Higher Drama
• 100% pass at all levels in Geography and Italian
• 100% A grades in Advanced Higher Physics

Mr. Bartlett, Headmaster of the College, commented on the standard of results this year:
