Omar Elected to Scottish Youth Parliament

Congratulations to Omar T. (S4) who was recently elected to represent his local area in the Scottish Youth Parliament.

The Scottish Youth Parliament is Scotland’s democratically elected representative of young people aged 14-25. The Youth Parliament is a fundamental organisation that allows the voices of young people to be heard – Omar being one of them.

This is an amazing achievement that shows Omar’s hard work, dedication, and commitment to his community. This role is a great responsibility and we can’t think of anyone better suited for it.

On his appointment, Omar commented: 

“I am very grateful to have been elected as a representative and have been given this opportunity. I hope that my level of determination and commitment can inspire many other people, including those in the St Aloysius' community, to reach their goals and make a change in the world.”
