This week, Primary 7 pupils were finally able to take part in the annual Dr McDonald Primary 7 Science Fair, but with a twist... this year our science fair went virtual!
Pupils worked extremely hard on making videos to share their investigations, and their creativity and communication skills were at the forefront of their work. By using MS Teams we were able to link up with senior school staff and other junior school classes who became our virtual audience, and were then tasked with asking the children questions in a live Q+A which followed each video.
The children have yet again shown us experiments and inventions we have never seen before. Such as “does practise make perfect?”, “how to make an infinity mirror”, and a detailed look at what makes the best ooblek!
All in all, despite the difficulties of the last year, the children have performed brilliantly showing great resilience and adaptability . Well done on such a successful Science Fair! ðŸ‘
