S1 Boys Crowned Champions at Scottish Schools Football Tournament

Congratulations to the 20 S1 boys who took part in the Scottish Schools Football Association Cashback 7’s tournament on Friday 24th March.

St Aloysius entered two teams, and both enjoyed success.

After some notable individual and team performances, one team narrowly missed out on qualifying from their group.

The other team, however, qualified after winning all of their group matches. They went on to play in the semi-final against Jordan Hill, and won comfortably 5-0. The final, against Rosshall Academy, was an exciting match, and at the final whistle the team won 2-0, making them champions of the tournament.

Well done to all the boys who participated in the tournament, and their show of fantastic team spirit throughout the event.
