S1 Take first Prize in Chemistry Challenge

Twelve S1 pupils took part in the RSC’s Chemistry at Work event at the University of the West of Scotland last week - which included a series of fascinating talks, including from a Senior Forensic Scientist, a Chemical Engineer, an R & D Chemist and a Polymer Technical Leader.

Pupils then worked together to solve the UWS Crime Scene Challenge and we were crowned the overall winners! Well done to the St Al’s team and all the pupils across the west of Scotland who took part!
