S2's Turkey and Syria Earthquake Appeal

Following a successful assembly led by S2 pupils on the work of the Jesuit response to the earthquake in Turkey and Syria, S2 pupils have decided to raise funds for this cause by selling Nazar pins, (otherwise known as the Eye of Turkey) for a small donation. These pins will be available to purchase in form classes and so far the pupils have raised in excess of £400 for this charity. 

Head of S2, Mrs. Piggot, commented: 

"This charity event is pupil-led - it's been great to see so many S2 pupils getting involved either by promoting the charity at the whole school assembly, doing display boards, or by selling during form time and at the options evening."
