The Magic of the Harp

Congratulations to Amélie Mackay (P6) who played the harp beautifully at the annual Edinburgh International Harp Festival (EIHF), which was held at Merchiston Castle School earlier in April.

Amélie took part in a special concert entitled ‘The Magic of the Harp’, which featured 60 young harp players performing music composed by Isobel Mieras, Heather Yule and Charlotte Peterson.

The concert was a great success, and the organisers would like to thank parents, grandparents, harp carrier, teachers and tuners, who all helped in this great and very worthwhile effort.
