Parent Announcement Friday 19th January 2018

PARENT ANNOUNCEMENT

We are aware that North Lanarkshire and South Lanarkshire schools will be closing at 12pm today. At present, the forecasts for Glasgow City Centre are varied and have been unpredictable. We will remain open to accommodate for our pupils who live in other areas, however, if you would like to collect your child early please contact:

Junior School – Reception (0141 331 9200)

Senior School – Year Office (0141 331 9250)

Any Prelims commencing after 1.30pm including Higher Physics, Latin, Nat. 5 Art & Design and Modern Language Orals will be cancelled and rescheduled.

The S2 trip to Our Dynamic Earth is scheduled to return to the College at 3.30pm. Weather is clear in Edinburgh and there are no traffic/weather concerns at present. They will continue to monitor and leave in adequate time to arrive at the College on time.

Can parents who have children in Kindergarten or After School Care today please collect as soon as possible at the end of the school day. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Staff will be on-hand until you collect your child.

We will continue to monitor the situation and update parents if anything changes. Please check emails and College social media/website for further updates.
